StorCycle users are configured by Administrators. User are configured with the following information:
- Username
- Full Name
- Password
- E-Mail (optional)
- User Role (Administrator Crypto Officer, Administrator, Storage Manager)
- Elect to Receive E-Mail Notifications
In addition to the StorCycle created users, 'Restore Users' can be enabled. With a domain conifgured, Restore Users are any domain users who are only able to access data restores through the UI or HTML links. Adminsitrators can set a daily restore limit for restore users, setting a maximum amount of data any user can restore in a given day. Restore Users are StorCycle created users after login and will consume user license seats (and can be removed from StorCycle at any time by administrators).

Administrators are able to create new Crypto Officers, Administrators and Storage Managers in the User Interface. Users can receive e-mail notifications for StorCycle jobs.
With an Active Directory or LDAP server configured, Administrators can elect, "Allow any active directory or LDAP user to restore", which allows domain users to log-in to StorCycle and restore data. This is configured within the Active Directory/LDAP Settings. Daily restore limits can be set for restore users.
